The Fiber and Raw Materials Supply Committee (FRMSC) of TAPPI is a group of dedicated professionals whose purpose is to promote and encourage issues and topics relating to wood. These include tree growth and development, silviculture and mensuration, wood procurement, fiber supply, wood and chip receiving, unloading, chip production, chip screening, stack out and reclaim of wood and chips, chip delivery, chip quality, wood and chip properties, operations of wood and chip handling systems, maintenance, safety, and environmental issues, and any related activity that impact on these areas. This broad-ranging view of wood as a raw material, in its many forms, incorporates all aspects of interest to people involved in and related wood processing industries
